This was a pretty good book had more sex in it then i like but was ok. I am getting ready to read the second one because I dont like to wonder what is happening to the family
The story line was easy to follow, with some definite dips and turns. I would recommend this product to most who enjoy a good love story with characters who come to know what is really important. What I did not like was some of the graphically explained love making scenes.
I got this book for free. I like light reading instead of watching TV, so when a free one comes along that looks good, I have to try it. Also, because other reviewers had said the bedroom details were not too detailed.
It was a nice western type romance. A few con points I was almost bored at times with some places in the book that just went on too long without contributing to the story, the constant sexual strain between the couple was a bit over done (how many ways can the author say it?), and it was predictable. Pros I thought the characters were developed nicely, it takes place in a nice family ranch setting, and it ends right.
I gave it 4 starts for keeping it clean and 3 for the actual story - a nice book, but not really a keeper for me.
This story is about a ranch called Bridleton. The ranch has belonged to Andrea's, our heroine, family for quite a long time. Sadly, the ranch is facing some financial difficulties.
Andrea left home after the death of her sister and the perceived betrayal by her first love Noah, our hero. After receiving word from her great-aunt that trouble is brewing, Andrea rushes home to see if she can help. She is surprised to find that Noah is now the ranch foreman. She's further surprised her aunt is considering selling the ranch to Noah. Andrea feels she must take a break from her very successful international modeling career to prevent Noah from getting his hands on her family home.
The remainder of the story revolves around Andrea and Noah taking every possible opportunity to be mean and snarky towards each other. They continue this way until of course they end up in bed together. After this happens we have to suffer through extreme levels of Andrea behaving childishly. Noah wasn't much better in his behavior. Romance novels that have easily settled conflicts annoy me a great deal by dragging a misunderstanding throughout the entire book.
I lost interest in this story along the way and decided it just wasn't for me. Maybe others will enjoy the tale, but it just fell flat for me.
Andrea Bartell, an international model, left home about 5 years ago after the death of her sister and bitter break-up with the love of her life Noah. She comes home after an urgent message from her great aunt thinking there's been another death in the family only to realize the family ranch, Bridlton, is in financial ruin and may be sold to Noah, her ex. Andrea now has to face what really happened to her sister, her status as an aging model and those butterflies in her stomach everytime shes near Noah.
I really enjoyed Bridleton! Whenever I download a free book I'm a little leery, but think 'Whatever, it's free..'. So when I find one I like I have got to give it props! I was up till the early hours of morning just so I could finish the book and see if/when and how Andrea and Noah dealt with the crisis of the ranch and their 'relationship'. I especially enjoyed their back and forth banter! Go download this book now! I can't wait to read more by Becky!

The sexual tension between Noah and Andrea could burn the pages of a book. I could feel it and I loved it. I don't care for men with blond hair but I'd take Noah in a heartbeat. He was all man. I loved this story and I'll read it again. Wonderful story!
I read the 2nd book first before I knew there was a first book. I liked the second book better. I felt the story line was better. Noah and Andrea couldn't seem to get to the truth of their break-up until the ending. It took too long to get there. But again, You got caught up in the story it seemed so real.
